Following the exciting first season of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Cup (BMIC), KRAFTON India has announced that season two is coming soon! This year’s competition will be held in Mumbai, bringing together the best PUBG Mobile and BGMI Esports teams from across Asia. The live finals are scheduled to begin in late October 2026.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited for this tournament! It’s a really important step for teams from South Korea, Japan, and India – the best ones will be competing for a giant prize of ₹1 crore (around $104,000) and, even better, a chance to qualify for the Global Championship. It’s awesome to see these regions getting a direct route to the biggest stage!
Battlegrounds Mobile International Cup (BMIC) 2026: Schedule and Format
BMIC 2026 will be a three-day event held entirely on a local area network (LAN), consisting only of the final matches. Asia’s best Battlegrounds Mobile India teams will compete at the Dome Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) Indoor Stadium from October 30th to November 1st.
Six teams from India, five from South Korea, and five from Japan will battle it out in BGMI for a chance to qualify for the 2026 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) and win a significant share of the prize money.
BMIC is a three-day event showcasing thrilling competitions between India’s top players and strong teams from across Asia. Held in Mumbai with a live audience, it’s set to be full of exciting matches and memorable moments.
Prize Pool
Teams competing in the event will be playing for a grand prize of 1 Crore INR. In addition to the main prize, there will be cash awards for individual achievements like Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best In-Game Leader (IGL). While the winning team will receive the biggest portion of the prize money, other participating teams will also be rewarded.
We don’t have the final prize pool details just yet, but we’ll share them as soon as we can. To be frank, the biggest reward of this tournament isn’t the money – it’s the chance to qualify for international events.
