Formula 1 x LVMH’s The Out Lap Serves Michelin-Starred Dinners on a Flatbed Truck Driving Through Grand Prix Circuits

Summary

Formula 1 and LVMH have teamed up to create “The Out Lap,” a very exclusive dining experience. It takes just 12 guests for a ride around the race track on a special truck that functions as a traveling restaurant. Diners will enjoy gourmet meals with top-quality drinks from Moët Hennessy, while getting access to unique areas like the Cool Down Room and hearing stories from famous F1 drivers such as Mika Hakkinen and Jacques Villeneuve.

Okay, so F1 is going all-out with luxury! They’ve teamed up with LVMH – you know, the fancy stuff group – to create something called “The Out Lap.” Basically, it’s a gourmet restaurant built into a container on the back of a flatbed truck. Can you believe it? Rich fans can now enjoy a high-end meal while getting driven around the actual race track! It’s wild – a moving, fancy restaurant going through all the turns of legendary F1 circuits.

The unique experience launched at the Spa-Francorchamps racetrack. It’s a pop-up venue that hosts only twelve guests at a time, setting up at famous racing locations around the world. Guests get to walk on the track itself and enjoy the racing atmosphere before indulging in a special meal. Each location features a menu created by Michelin-starred chefs, paired with premium wines and spirits from Moët Hennessy.

The event will be hosted by an F1 personality who’s a fantastic storyteller. Promotional materials show racing legends Mika Hakkinen and Jacques Villeneuve chatting with attendees during dinner. These experienced drivers will share unique stories about iconic moments in motorsports, all at the very locations where history happened. Guests will also get exclusive access to the paddock area and a private tour of the Cool Down Room – where drivers relax right after finishing the race.

The price hasn’t been announced yet, but this experience is clearly aimed at very wealthy individuals – likely those in the top 1% of earners. It seems you’ll probably need to already have a Paddock Club pass to be able to book it. Those passes themselves usually cost over $10,000 for three days, depending on where the event is held. Essentially, this mobile restaurant is an extra luxury for people who want to spend money on something truly unique and impressive.

This new offering demonstrates how Formula 1 is leveraging its growing worldwide popularity by taking VIP experiences to the next level. F1 is evolving into a global lifestyle brand, appealing to affluent fans who want more than just watching the race – they want immersive, luxurious experiences. By going beyond typical pit lane access and offering things like high-end dining combined with the excitement of motorsport, F1 is creating something truly unique. Currently, these exclusive experiences are only available at European races this season.
