While playing the game ‘Snog, Marry, Avoid,’ Holly Willoughby playfully confessed she’d choose comedian Romesh Ranganathan as her ‘snog’ choice.
Katherine Ryan playfully challenged Holly to choose between comedians Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, and Josh Widdicombe. Then, in a joking manner, she threatened to send Romesh a video of Holly expressing romantic interest in him.
The presenter seems to be regaining her energy and enthusiasm in early previews of her new YouTube series, Together.
It wasn’t all fun and games, though. Later in the show, Holly became emotional while interviewing a mother who had lost her son to suicide, and was seen wiping away tears.
It’s quite the new project for Holly, 45.
For 11 years, she was the much-loved presenter of ITV’s flagship show, This Morning.
Holly hosted a popular show where she interviewed everyone from famous celebrities and politicians to everyday people, all while they sat on the show’s iconic sofa.
After a frightening ordeal involving a kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder attempt by her ex-security guard, Gavin Plumb, Holly is returning to work – this time on her own terms. It’s been three and a half years since she left.
Holly Willoughby launched her new YouTube show, ‘Holly Willoughby Together,’ on Wednesday. The program will share lifestyle tips and ideas – much like what viewers enjoy on ‘This Morning’ – with two new videos released each week.
And on Monday, she gave a first look at the purpose-built studio in London.
The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped, perfect for her to cook her own dishes or learn new techniques from a professional chef, all set against a stylish backdrop including a classic cream-colored SMEG refrigerator.
Holly is smiling at the camera while casually leaning against a counter. She’s wearing a stylish white top with blue jeans.
She’ll be hosting the show there, and has already lined up some well-known guests like Stanley Tucci and Katherine Ryan.
Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton, both friends who stood by Holly during the difficult time with the kidnapping attempt, will also be appearing on her show.
The event will also feature appearances by experts in various fields, such as tech safety advocate Ellen Froome, chefs Lauren Leyva, King The Chef, and Original Flava, makeup artist Victoria Penrose, and florist Sally Parkes.
Oh my gosh, Together is just everything! It’s built around these incredible ideas. First, there’s ‘Talk Together,’ and honestly, it’s where the real stuff happens – just raw, honest chats with people who’ve lived amazing, and sometimes really tough, lives. Then there’s ‘Cook Together,’ where Holly either whips up one of her own recipes – she’s a great cook, you know! – or, even better, she learns from the expert – the person who created the dish! And finally, ‘Look Good Together’ is pure heaven – all the fashion and beauty tips you could ever want! I’m completely hooked!
Better Together offers helpful advice from experts on common issues like health, well-being, and managing daily life.
Back in January, The Mail on Sunday reported that Holly, a television veteran with nearly 25 years of experience and a reported annual salary of £730,000 at ITV, was starting a new digital venture.
On Monday, Holly was seen arriving at a launch event for the show with a big smile on her face.
At a recent breakfast event, the speaker explained they were pursuing something innovative. They described a period of self-reflection, saying it took time to discover their direction, but they’d know immediately when they found it because it would feel natural and correct.
‘And I think being a little braver and not just going for the obvious option really got me.’
Holly Willoughby’s new show, Together, will premiere on July 28th with two episodes released each week. You can watch it on YouTube, various streaming services, and her social media channels. The show is made by Hungry Bear Media.
