This summer, Diptyque introduces a captivating new fragrance collection called Jardin des Eaux (Water Garden). Imagine a beautiful garden with stone paths, shaded by pine trees and filled with the scent of orange blossoms and jasmine. The collection’s inspiration is brought to life through the artwork of contemporary mosaic artist Mathilde Jonquière, whose designs capture the way light and texture flow and interact.
Jonquière creates stunning designs by carefully cutting and arranging small pieces of colorful Venetian glass and gold. These mosaics capture the shimmering light on water and are featured on the packaging for the collection. The bottle designs, including the Eau de Toilette and a new limited-edition Hair Mist, become vibrant displays of color, framing the fragrance within like a piece of a sunlit garden.
The Eau des Sens Eau de Toilette is the heart of this refreshing scent experience. This signature summer fragrance opens with a bright, sparkling burst of juniper berry, reminiscent of cool water glistening in the sunlight. Delicate notes of angelica gently blend in, leading to a rich, grounding base of patchouli that adds a warm, sophisticated woodiness.
Okay, so this whole experience isn’t just about smelling good, it’s a whole vibe for summer. I’ve been trying out their new stuff, and the After-Sun Body Milky-Gel with citronella and geranium is seriously amazing – it feels so good on my skin after a long gaming session in the sun. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous, like artwork. But it doesn’t stop there! When I’m done playing for the day, I light their new Pinède candle – it smells like a pine forest, super relaxing.
