Owain has died, his brother Rhodri announced in an Instagram post. Rhodri shared the sad news with a message from himself and their father.
I’m still reeling from this news, and I know a lot of other people are too. We’re trying to piece things together, but from what we understand right now, Owain just passed away suddenly, but it was natural causes and thankfully, he was at peace.

Charity Wakefield, who previously worked with Owain on the show A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life and often collaborates with him, also posted a touching message on Instagram.
She shared a sweet photo of them dancing and wrote a heartfelt message about Owain Rhys Davies, saying he was truly special. She admitted she was still struggling to find the right words, but wanted to express how happy he made her.
