Cruz Beckham announced he won’t be charging fans to meet him on his tour, especially since tickets for many shows sold out so quickly.
David and Victoria Beckham’s youngest son, 20, is hitting the road with his band, The Breakers, for a UK tour this year. They’ll also be playing shows in Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin, and fans can see the band’s lead singer perform for free.
Unlike many other artists who charge high fees, Cruz stated he wouldn’t and was eager to meet fans for free after his performances.
One Instagram follower asked: ‘So meet and greets are going to be going on sale?’.
Cruz responded by saying he’d never charge fans to meet him and would always spend time with them after his shows. He expressed excitement about meeting everyone.
Honestly, playing those early gigs was everything to me. It wasn’t just about the music; it was about connecting with you all. I really wanted to get to know everyone, figure out which songs resonated the most, and grow as an artist with you. It was a learning experience for all of us, and I can’t wait to see you again soon!
Tickets for the artist’s shows in Southampton, Leeds, and a second London date were already becoming scarce just 20 minutes after going on sale at 10am on Friday.
Cruz used his Instagram to share news about his upcoming tour and to announce that his new single, ‘For Your Love,’ will be released on February 13th.
He announced that tickets for his ‘For Your Love’ tour are now available and hinted at the release of a new song soon. He expressed his excitement about sharing a particularly meaningful song with fans on the 13th. His girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 29, simply commented ‘Finally!’
Fans expressed their excitement online, sharing messages like ‘Got my tickets!’ and ‘Can’t wait to see you live in Glasgow!’ Many commented on the song, with some saying it reminded them of Oasis. Several people purchased tickets for both the Glasgow and London shows and requested meet-and-greets. There was also enthusiasm from fans in Yorkshire who said they love the band’s music.
After the tour was announced last week, Cruz’s mother, Victoria, was quick to express her pride, writing online: ‘So proud of you Cruz!!’
This follows Cruz seemingly walking back a critical comment he made about his brother Brooklyn, after removing a TikTok video he posted on Tuesday.
He posted a video on the site for his brother Romeo, with the caption: ‘It’s funny how people can hate when we’re just living our lives.’
The video appears to be a response to 26-year-old Brooklyn publicly sharing his feelings about his parents. Last week, he made a surprising announcement criticizing his family for being ‘fake’.
Victoria and David haven’t spoken publicly about the issue, but Cruz’s sarcastic video caused a lot of trouble, likely prompting the young singer to take it down.
Last week, Brooklyn shared a strongly worded, six-page statement detailing his strained relationship with his family and stating he doesn’t want to make amends, even with his father, David. However, he hasn’t publicly discussed his relationship with his brothers, Romeo and Cruz, or his sister, Harper, who is 14.
Even so, Cruz appeared eager to share his feelings, hinting at a response to criticism with a lighthearted post on Instagram about overcoming negativity.
David and Romeo Beckham were seen in Paris with their girlfriends, Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull. The four of them spent a lot of time together, including having dinner over the weekend.
It’s unclear why he took down the video, but many TikTok users who were watching the ongoing conflict noticed it was gone.
Last week, Cruz Beckham publicly supported his mother, Victoria, as fans in the UK started a campaign to get her to the top of the charts.
Following Brooklyn’s controversial accusations – which included the surprising claim that Victoria acted inappropriately at his wedding – fans of Victoria Beckham, known as ‘Posh Spice,’ launched a campaign to get her a number one hit as a solo artist for the first time.
After a strong push from her fans, Victoria achieved her first solo number one last week. Her 2001 single, “Not Such An Innocent Girl,” topped the iTunes charts in both the UK and Ireland.
Cruz posted a photo of a drink on his Instagram story, playfully adding the song title “Not Such An Innocent Girl” as it climbed the music charts.
A fan campaign to get Victoria Beckham a solo number one hit is behind the recent chart activity, fueled by the belief that she’s the only Spice Girl who hasn’t achieved this milestone.
I’ve been seeing a lot of promotion for Victoria Beckham’s music lately – more in the last day than I have in two decades! I’m totally hooked and really want her to get to number one – it would be an amazing surprise.
