I’m really excited about the new drama coming to Channel 4! They’re saying it’s going to be a super important and captivating show that really tackles what the LGBTQ+ community is going through right now. And I saw the trailer for that revenge thriller coming back to Netflix, and wow – it looks intense! Definitely going to be a good watch.
If you’re looking for a lighthearted show, check out the new comedy from Mindy Kaling, the creator of Never Have I Ever. It’s expected to be another delightful and funny series. And for those who enjoy romance, a popular reality show is back with plenty of heat.
Seriously, there’s a ton of cool stuff happening! I’m already checking everything out and planning my week – you should too! Let’s get our calendars filled up!

Tip Toe
Don’t miss Russell T Davies’ new series, Tip Toe. Channel 4 describes the five-episode thriller, which is filmed in Manchester, as an exploration of the challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community today. The story centers around neighbors Leo (Alan Cumming) and Clive (David Morrissey), and Leo’s teenage sons.
The story shows how easily words can turn into attacks, opinions can become extreme, and ultimately, friends can become bitter enemies.
What to Read Next
Channel 4 promises “deft humour” in this “urgent yet gripping” watch.
Tip Toe is available to watch from Sunday 31 May at 9pm on Channel 4.

Love Island, season 13
The new season of Love Island is starting, marking the beginning of summer romance! A group of single hopefuls will be heading to the villa, hoping to find love.
Excited to see who’s falling in love next? We’ve got the scoop on the new couples you’ll be rooting for in 2026!
Love Island season 13 is available to watch from Monday 1 June at 9pm on ITV2.

The Fortune
Eleanor Tomlinson, known for her roles in Poldark and The Forsytes, is the lead in a new, suspenseful series premiering on Channel 5 this week. She plays a character named Amanda.
Amanda’s life is turned upside down when she unexpectedly inherits a fortune from a complete stranger. As she investigates, long-hidden family secrets involving the Worralls start to unravel and complicate her life.
As I’ve been watching, it’s become clear that every new thing she discovers about what happened before really shakes things up for everyone. It’s even starting to threaten the wonderful life she’s built with her husband, Jimmy (Matthew Lewis), and their son, Luke (James Younger), and honestly, it’s terrifying to watch!
The Fortune is available to watch from Tuesday 2 June at 9pm on Channel 5.

Cape Fear
The classic 1990s thriller Cape Fear is being reimagined for television. This new version updates the 1991 film directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg.
Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson play Anna and Tom Bowden, a married couple whose lives are turned upside down when a dangerous criminal they helped convict is released and seeks revenge. Javier Bardem stars as the vengeful Max Cady, and the story suggests trouble is brewing for the Bowdens.
Cape Fear is available to watch from Friday 5 June on Apple TV.

Not Suitable for Work
This new comedy, created by Mindy Kaling (co-creator of Never Have I Ever), follows the lives of five young professionals navigating their twenties in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood.
These young, ambitious professionals are determined to succeed, but the trailer hints that office romances and other complications will disrupt their carefully laid plans for happiness.
Not Suitable for Work is available to watch from Tuesday 2 June on Disney+.

The Witness
Inspired by true events, The Witness shares the heartbreaking story of Alex and André Hanscombe and how a shocking event forever altered their lives.
André unexpectedly became a single parent in 1992 after Rachel Nickell was tragically murdered on Wimbledon Common.
The situation was especially heartbreaking because two-year-old Alex was the only one who saw what happened. André must cope with his own sadness while also shielding his son and dealing with the intense attention from the media and the police, who are working hard to find out the truth.
The Witness is available to watch from Thursday 4 June on Netflix.

Blood Sisters, season 2
We’re especially thrilled to have the new season of Temidayo Makanjuola’s suspenseful thriller, Blood Sisters, premiering this week.
Sarah (Ini Dima Okojie) is still dealing with the aftermath of her fiancé’s death – he was abusive, and now she and her best friend, Kemi (Nancy Isime), are facing legal consequences. Meanwhile, the family of the deceased is demanding the harshest punishment possible.
Can these fighters withstand the challenges ahead? Blood Sisters originally aired in 2022, so if you need a reminder of what happened in the first season, you can find a recap here.
