Palace Skateboards and Nike have teamed up to release a special collection called “The Three Lions by Palace” for the England men’s national football team on June 12th. This collaboration is part of Nike’s series that connects teams with partners and community organizations. As the England team gets ready for upcoming tournaments, the collection will feature a pre-match kit worn by players on June 6th and 10th, proudly supporting Football Beyond Borders.

The collection features both performance and lifestyle pieces. For training, there’s a slim-fit Dri-FIT soccer top and jersey with a St. George’s Cross design, a grey Dri-FIT drill top with infrared details, a track jacket, and track pants. The lifestyle side showcases Palace’s style with a leather and wool varsity jacket featuring Palace branding and a large three lions design on the back, silver zip-up jackets, and a black leather Cryoshot. The collection is finished with t-shirts, a cap, and a beanie.

The partnership with Football Beyond Borders adds a powerful purpose to this collection. FBB has worked closely with Nike and the FA for years, using football to help young people with their education and social development. Seeing their logo on the England team’s warm-up kit during matches on June 6th and 10th is more than just branding – it’s a significant moment for the organization and a demonstration of their impact on a global stage.

The collection’s main film is classic Palace – bold, playful, and a bit cheeky. It features Wayne Rooney and Jill Scott alongside regular England fans, with Rooney surprisingly reciting Shakespeare. The film jumps between modern football and historical scenes, all the way back to prehistoric times. The punchline? Stonehenge was actually an early football goal! It’s a fast-paced, humorous film that celebrates England’s fans and perfectly explains why Palace was the ideal brand to create this collection.

Palace’s Co-founder and Creative Director, Lev Tanju, shared that collaborating officially with England has always been a goal for the brand. He explained that growing up in London, the excitement around major football tournaments and the sense of national unity were incredibly powerful, and they’d previously created items inspired by the England team. Now, to officially partner with them feels like a dream realized. Co-founder and CEO, Gareth Skewis, added that the England national football team is central to the country’s identity, and designing for them alongside Nike is a childhood dream come true.

The Three Lions by Palace collection will be available online and in stores in the UK, EU, US, and Canada starting June 12th. On June 13th, it will launch online and in stores in Japan, online in Australia and New Zealand, and in stores in Hong Kong and Korea. Finally, the collection will be released through Nike on June 16th.
