Hey everyone, I just heard about this cool new game coming out! It’s called Some of You May Die, and it’s a strategic roguelike autobattler made by a solo indie dev, Octavia Blue. I’m really excited because it’s hitting Android, iOS, and PC on July 24th, 2026. Even better, pre-orders are live on the App Store right now, and it looks like it’ll be around $4.99 when it finally launches.
Get ready to experiment with different synergies and beat enemies in PvP matches
So, Some of You May Die is a strategy game where you build a team of heroes and upgrade everything you can – from their stats to their special abilities. You can experiment with lots of different heroes and team combinations to win in single-player mode or compete against other players online.
In this game, you have lots of options for building a strong team, like collecting multiple versions of the same hero – such as Archer or Summoner – or combining duplicates to make them even better. You can also use gold to improve your heroes’ stats and skills before they automatically fight battles, which means you’ll need to change your strategy each time you play. I especially appreciate being able to choose your enemies in single-player or compete against friends in multiplayer.
The game appears really engaging and enjoyable, offering a blend of strategic hero choices, team-building through stacking bonuses, and customizable hero upgrades. It features competitive player-versus-player autobattler gameplay with a variety of modes. Plus, the pixel art style gives the combat a cool, gritty look, and matches are a manageable 10-20 minutes long, perfect for quick play sessions.
