The movie Death of a Unicorn definitely isn’t for everyone, but it’s worth watching on HBO Max. The story follows a father and daughter who accidentally hit a unicorn with their car while driving to a meeting with a man who wants to profit from it. Like many films from A24, it’s a uniquely strange and interesting watch.

I really enjoyed watching Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega together – they had fantastic chemistry! The movie is a dark comedy and while it doesn’t totally hit the mark with every joke, it’s definitely got a quirky charm. It’s a great pick if you’re just looking for something fun and different to watch, and I think you should go in expecting just that. Honestly, Jenna Ortega is a huge draw, and as an HBO Max subscriber, I think it’s worth checking out – it’s way better than some of the reviews have said.
