Olivia Attwood suggested that she and her husband, Bradley Dack, actually separated some time before the news became public.
The 34-year-old, who previously appeared on Love Island, and her husband announced they were splitting up last weekend. She has since removed him from her Instagram and moved into a new apartment in London.
Olivia publicly spoke about her separation for the first time on Saturday, explaining what led to the end of her marriage.
In a heartfelt message, she hinted that her breakup wasn’t a sudden event, revealing she’s been feeling upset and crying for quite a while now.
She admitted she often opens Instagram wanting to post something, but feels stuck because she doesn’t know what to share. She joked that she’s not comfortable being vulnerable, especially online, describing social media as a risky place to open up – like being an open wound surrounded by sharks.
For a long time now, I’ve been going through a cycle of crying myself to sleep, only to wake up at 5am and pretend everything is fine.
‘But also so much change in such a short amount of time (you know I hate that (Taurus)
I didn’t foresee living in this apartment by myself, and honestly, I feel overwhelmed. I’m just hoping for happiness – for myself, for Brad, and for anyone else who might need to hear this. I’m taking things one day at a time, hoping for the best for all of us.
‘Normal programming and chatting will resume asap. Ps thank you, I feel your love immensely.’
Since their separation, Olivia has been spotted without her wedding ring several times in public, but Brad continues to wear his.
Reports suggest the couple’s marriage ended because the footballer betrayed her trust and acted inappropriately.
Olivia hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring much lately, and she wasn’t wearing it during her appearance on Loose Women on Friday. She’s reportedly gone without it since October.
After leaving the Loose Women studio, she tried to appear cheerful despite being seen without her wedding ring.
I was really worried to see Olivia looking so down after the show. Thankfully, GK Barry was right there for her, supporting her, and they had a long chat – about fifteen minutes, I think – which was lovely to see. It seemed like she really needed someone to talk to.
Oh my gosh, I just read that Brad is so upset! Apparently, he’s absolutely furious about how everyone’s painting him as the villain in this breakup. It’s not fair! Sources say it wasn’t all his fault, and she definitely played a part too. I knew it! He deserves better press, honestly. It’s just not right how they’re twisting things!
People close to Bradley, who is 32, are calling Olivia’s announcement about their split a planned publicity effort designed to protect her image.
A friend of Bradley told the Daily Mail that he’s upset and feels unfairly blamed. He believes Olivia is portraying him as the villain, but the situation is more complicated than it seems.
She and her supporters are publicly accusing him of overstepping boundaries and breaking her trust through a planned PR campaign. However, she hasn’t always acted appropriately either – the issues go both ways.
Their marriage has been struggling for a while now, and both partners have contributed to the issues. If trust has been broken, it’s not solely his fault.
Look, I’ve known Bradley for a while now, and honestly, he’s not without his faults. I won’t get into the specifics of what happened – let’s just say he’s done something similar before, and it’s about a breakdown of trust. It’s a pattern, really.
Both people have made mistakes, and it’s unfair to blame him entirely.
Olivia has left their apartment in central London, and Bradley, a footballer for Gillingham, is now staying with his parents more often in Kent.
A friend also mentioned that he has strong support from his family and close friends, who all feel he’s being misrepresented in the situation.
Olivia has a lot of support and visibility, with a TV show and established connections. Bradley, on the other hand, relies on his close family and friends. While things have been tough, he’s managing well considering the circumstances.
Olivia recently posted a video featuring Angelina Jolie offering her advice for dealing with difficult times.
In a moving moment, the celebrated actress encouraged viewers to fully embrace difficult emotions. She advised them to experience feelings completely – to not shy away from them, but to truly feel everything, process it, and ultimately move forward.
Life often throws difficult situations at you that you can’t avoid. It’s not about if you’ll face hardship, but how you handle it when you do. You have to persevere and get through it.
Olivia recently shared a look at her new, empty apartment with fans on social media. This was the first time she’d posted since quickly moving out of the home she previously shared with Bradley.
I’m so excited to share that I’m planning a big move! I just posted a little sneak peek – a selfie in front of my closet – hinting at my dream of owning a place back in my hometown by 2026. It feels amazing to be working towards that goal, and I wanted to share the journey with you all!
In a heartfelt video, Olivia was shown sitting in her empty living room, with a message displayed that read: ‘That dream was put in your heart for a reason.’
She used to live in Cheshire with her husband, a footballer named Bradley, but after rumors surfaced about trouble in their marriage, she moved to an apartment in London.
Olivia and Bradley first got together in 2015, but their relationship quickly hit a rough patch when Olivia found out Bradley had been unfaithful. Heartbroken, she then decided to appear on the reality show Love Island in 2017, where she became well-known.
Following a brief relationship with Chris Hughes, she got back together with Bradley, and he proposed to her during a romantic trip to Dubai in 2019.
Olivia is a popular face on ITV, appearing regularly on shows like Loose Women and This Morning. She’s also hosted her own programs, including Bad Boyfriends, Getting Filthy Rich, and The Price Of Perfection.
After appearing on Love Island and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!, she’s become a regular on Kiss FM Radio alongside Pete Wicks and started her own podcast called Olivia’s House.
Just recently, Olivia shared that she had been offered several opportunities to work in the United States, paving the way for her to pursue a career there.
Bradley and Olivia have very different work lives; while Olivia is rapidly succeeding in her field, Bradley’s schedule is quite different.
Oh, it’s just heartbreaking to watch! He and Olivia have been together forever – over ten years now! – and honestly, seeing him struggle on the field just kills me. He used to be incredible, but those injuries… ever since his time at Blackburn and Sunderland, he hasn’t been the same. It’s like he can’t quite recapture that magic, and it’s so frustrating as a fan!
