What is Rainbow Weather in Heartopia
Rainbow Weather is a special, temporary event in Heartopia that’s triggered by certain weather. It doesn’t occur daily, and when it does, it only lasts a few hours. Because of this, it’s important to plan ahead if you want to experience it.
As a player, one of the first things I do when I launch the game is check my Watch to see if Rainbow Weather is happening! It’s super easy – a little rainbow icon pops up on the display when the event is live. But the best part is, the Watch also tells you when the rainbow days are coming up, so you can actually plan around them instead of just being surprised. It’s a great way to make sure you don’t miss out!
When it’s rainbow weather in Heartopia, everything gets a boost! You’ll get stronger with special buffs, find unique items, and gather rare materials much more easily. Basically, the game becomes more rewarding all around.
How to prepare and what to do during the Rainbow weather in Heartopia
Let me tell you, getting ready before Rainbow Weather starts is the key to actually enjoying it. This event doesn’t last long, so every single minute matters! If you don’t prep beforehand, it can be super stressful, but if you do, it’s incredibly rewarding. Seriously, start preparing before that rainbow even shows up – you’ll thank me later.
Prepare yourself before the Rainbow Weather starts
First, pay attention to the in-game timer. Knowing when Rainbow Weather is about to start lets you log in and take advantage of it. Also, make sure you have plenty of free space in your inventory beforehand. Rainbow Weather makes it easier to collect lots of resources, and you don’t want to waste time constantly sorting through a full bag!
Before you begin, get everything ready and make sure you’re feeling your best. Fix any broken equipment, prepare some food to keep your energy up, and don’t exhaust yourself right before starting. Also, think about your plan. Rainbow Weather can help with a lot of different things, so decide ahead of time what you want to focus on.
Understand what Rainbow Bouquets are and collect them
Okay, so once you get Rainbow Weather going, the biggest thing to know about is the Rainbow Blessing buff. Seriously, it changes everything! It makes all your hobbies way better – you’ll start getting rarer fish when you fish, cook up amazing, high-quality dishes, and even find way more exciting bugs when you go insect catching. It’s a total game changer!
These helpful boosts aren’t permanent. You’ll usually get them by finding and using Rainbow Bouquets during the event. These Bouquets look like colorful, floating clovers, and each one will give you a buff that lasts for 30 minutes.
During the event, you can locate three Rainbow Bouquets. One will be near your house, and the other two are on Onsen Mountain. You’ll find one bouquet at the very top of Onsen Mountain, and the other close to the horse statues on the western side of the mountain.
Visit Doris once the Rainbow starts
Rainbow Weather brings a new traveling shopkeeper named Doris. She only shows all of her items during special events. To find Doris when Rainbow Weather is active, first spot the rainbow, then follow it to its end – that’s where she’ll be!
Here I’m attaching her location during the rainbow. You can find her on any of these two locations.

Doris offers unique items that won’t be available after her event. It’s a good idea to buy them now, even if you don’t need them right away, to avoid missing out. Once Rainbow Weather is over, Doris and everything she sells will be gone.
Make farming resources a priority during Rainbow Weather
As a dedicated player, I can tell you Rainbow Weather is amazing for farming! It seriously ramps up how quickly you can gather materials. You get this awesome buff called the Rainbow Blessing – you get it from rainbow bouquets – and it basically doubles everything you collect. It’s definitely one of the best times to stock up on resources!
Take Advantage of the Wild Animal Bonding Bonus During Rainbow Weather
When it’s Rainbow weather, take advantage of the increased activity of Ferrets and Foxes! This is a great opportunity to quickly build strong relationships with them, as any interaction will be much more effective than normal. It’s one of the best times in the game to bond with these animals and gain a significant advantage.

Honestly, Rainbow Days are the perfect time to get close to the wild animals in the game. I’ve found that feeding them and just hanging out with them when it’s rainbow weather really speeds up how much our bond grows. If you’re a little lost about what each animal likes or where to even find them, definitely check out our Heartopia Wild Animal Guide – it helped me a ton when I was starting out!
