Last week, Brooklyn Beckham publicly revealed a year-long family conflict, distancing himself from his parents with a bold announcement.

Although Brooklyn Beckham stated he and his wife, Nicola Peltz, want to keep their personal life private, their recent Instagram activity suggests otherwise and has continued to add to the ongoing conflict.

And there’s something strangely familar about the couple’s latest carousels of loved-up snaps.

The photos from their recent, lavish trip to Malibu closely resemble posts from Victoria and David Beckham. From similar restaurant selfies to matching outfits, and even Brooklyn’s interest in gardening – a trait he shares with his father – the parallels are striking.

Restaurant romance

Following the drama on Instagram, Brooklyn and Nicola went to the same hotel favored by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – the San Ysidro Ranch, located in the Montecito area where the couple lives.

The couple is sharing photos from their lavish getaway at a high-end resort, where rooms cost between £2,245 and £9,069 per night, giving their 20 million followers a peek at their extravagant vacation.

One snap shared by Brooklyn shows him planting a kiss on Nicola during a romantic dinner.

The picture is reminiscent of a 2019 photo his parents shared on social media, showing David kissing Victoria with a similar smiling, puckered expression to his wife, Nicola.

Seeing double

Another snap taken during the Malibu break shows Brooklyn indulging in a glass of red wine.

His father, David, has often talked about his love for expensive red wine, once mentioning Chateau Margaux – a bottle that can cost anywhere from £500 to £2,000 depending on its age. Brooklyn shares his dad’s taste for this particular wine.

Brooklyn recently showed off a remarkably rare and historically significant bottle of 1831 Château d’Yquem in a photo series. A single bottle of this wine typically costs around $23,000, which is about £16,687.

This exceptional and rare wine became the most expensive in the world in 2011 when a bottle, over 200 years old, sold for a remarkable £75,000.

On Tuesday evening, Brooklyn was excited to share a rare and hard-to-find wine with his wife and their dog, Lamb, during a cozy and romantic dinner.

Nicola and Brooklyn showed off their affection on Instagram with a photo of Nicola blowing a kiss while Brooklyn smiled behind her.

The picture, taken at a dinner table with a white tablecloth, looks a lot like a recent photo David shared with Victoria from one of their dates.

The retired athlete is known for his impressive kitchen garden, where he grows a variety of fruits and vegetables – including plums, pears, apples, kale, potatoes, onions, carrots, and salads. He often shares photos of his harvest on Instagram.

This attractive pergola looks a lot like the one David and Victoria Beckham have in their garden in the Cotswolds, which they’ve shown off in photos on social media.

Both pergolas are drenched in flowers and foliage with plenty of enteraining space underneath.
