People everywhere are excited to finally watch Tom Lizard, the internet’s latest obsession! Pixar even used the character’s popularity to announce the release date for the show on Disney+.

I was totally hooked when they showed Tom Lizard after the Elio movie! It was just a quick peek at what’s coming in Hoppers, but it blew up online! Seriously, that little clip of him spamming the lizard emoji got over 300 million views and became the meme everyone was sharing. It was amazing to watch!

Tom Lizard Reveals Hoppers’ Disney+ Release Date

Disney and Pixar quickly recognized Tom Lizard’s popularity and made him the main face of their marketing for the film Hoppers. A new video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the studio shows Tom Lizard hanging posters, which announce that Hoppers will be available to stream on Disney+ starting June 3rd.

Pixar’s Hoppers is coming to Disney+ shortly after its digital release last month. The animated film quickly became the top title on the Apple TV Store in both Canada and the US. Hoppers also performed well in theaters, grossing $386 million worldwide.

Families will have plenty of options for watching Hoppers this June! While it will still be available digitally, the movie will also be released on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on June 2nd, alongside its availability on Disney+.

The film Hoppers is set in a future where scientists have developed a way to transfer human consciousness into realistic robotic animals, enabling communication between people and animals. It was directed by Daniel Chong, who worked from a script written by Jesse Andrews, and the story was created by both of them.

I recently watched Hoppers, and let me tell you, Piper Curda is fantastic as Mabel Tanaka, a real animal enthusiast. The story kicks off when Mabel gets her hands on some new tech, and things quickly get wild. According to the official description, she stumbles into mysteries about the animal world that are far more incredible than she ever expected, and honestly, that’s a pretty accurate assessment. It’s a fun ride!

Hoppers arrives on Disney+ on June 3.
