Pas Normal Studios and Salomon have teamed up for their Spring/Summer 2026 T.K.O. collection. This limited-edition line centers around the GRVL Concept shoe – designed for both on and off-road performance. The collection also includes the RACE SKIN 2 running vest, creating a complete system that blends the worlds of cycling and running with a consistent look and technical features. It’s available now.
The GRVL Concept shoe represents the core of this collaboration’s design. It features a PEBA-based foam midsole that provides a soft feel and helps you bounce back with each stride. Two full-length carbon plates add a snappy, responsive feel. The outsole is inspired by cycling tires, with shallow 1.5mm lugs that offer grip on uneven ground and maintain speed on pavement. A slightly higher stack height (43mm in the front, 37mm in the rear) with a 6mm drop creates a performance-focused shoe built for changing terrain. Weighing in at 262 grams, it’s lightweight without compromising protection, thanks to a built-in knitted gaiter and Salomon’s quickLACE system for a secure fit and to keep out debris.
The RACE SKIN 2 vest is the final piece of the system, designed for comfortable and stable carrying. It fits snugly to prevent bouncing while you’re moving quickly, and features two flasks in the front for easy access to fluids. A larger compartment in the back holds a hydration bladder, making it ideal for longer runs or hikes where you need to be prepared for varying conditions.
The collection has a clear Pas Normal Studios aesthetic. Its colors are inspired by the gravel landscapes it was designed for – think earthy tones of sand and dust, accented by the yellow of the sun and the blue of the sky. The branding uses a subtle, reflective silver-grey print that’s functional without being overly flashy. Pas Normal Studios’ creative director, Karl-Oskar Olsen, explains that they’ve also collaborated with Salomon to create a gravel running shoe and vest, both built with the same high standards as their main product line.
This partnership highlights a growing trend in athletic performance, where athletes are redefining their approach to training and gear. Pas Normal Studios is known for high-tech cycling apparel that looks more like modern fashion than traditional sportswear, while Salomon has long been a leader in helping mountain and trail athletes perform their best. The intersection of these two brands—focused on multiple disciplines, stylish design, and serious performance—reflects the evolving culture of outdoor sports. The GRVL Concept isn’t about fitting into existing categories; it’s about challenging the need for them altogether.
You can find the Salomon x Pas Normal Studios SS26 T.K.O. collection at Pas Normal Studios stores, through select retailers, and online.
