The blacktoes x ASICS SUPERBLAST 3 BT “Keep Running Quiet” shoes will release on May 30th at blacktoes GALLERY. Details regarding colorway, SKU, and MSRP are yet to be announced.
Shanghai-based creative studio blacktoes has revealed a first look at its upcoming shoe collaboration with ASICS. The blacktoes x ASICS SUPERBLAST 3 BT, called “Keep Running Quiet,” features a stylish and understated color scheme. The shoe’s upper is a deep dark brown, contrasted by black sections around the toe and heel.
I’m really loving the details on these! The ASICS logo actually changes color with the temperature, which is so cool and adds a lot of depth. They’ve also updated the shoe with this new FF LEAP foam in the midsole – it makes them super lightweight and bouncy. Plus, they managed to shave off 10 grams of weight and made the sole a little thicker than the last version, so they’re even more comfortable and feel great when you run. The design is awesome too – it’s all about personal transformation, and they’ve used these really subtle, sculpted lines and abstract butterfly designs to represent that. It’s just a really well-thought-out shoe!
