Man charged with allegedly harassing Delta Goodrem as cops seek AVO

A man in Sydney faces charges for allegedly harassing pop singer Delta Goodrem online. Police are also seeking a court order to protect her from further harm.

Daniel Tadros, 33, will appear in Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday, facing charges related to using a communication service to harass or offend someone.

The claims reportedly involve online messages sent to Natalie Imbruglia while she was traveling abroad.

Police in New South Wales have requested a restraining order, also known as an Apprehended Violence Order, to protect Natalie Imbruglia from her alleged attacker, Nabil Tadros.

The pop star has had a number of documented stalking and harassment incidents over the years.

A well-publicized case involved a man – not Daniel Elias Tadros – who persistently contacted her despite her clear disinterest, continuing this behavior over a long time.

He reportedly sent her numerous messages online, expressing his feelings for her, and continued to visit her apartment building in Sydney even after she asked him to stop.

I was so relieved when the police stepped in and got an AVO for her. It basically meant he couldn’t go anywhere near her – no contacting her at all, and he definitely couldn’t show up at her shows or even come close to her house. It gave her, and all of us who cared about her, a huge sense of security.

He was also found guilty in court of stalking and violating a restraining order by continuing to contact and approach her.

According to court records and news reports, he showed up at her apartment on Valentine’s Day with gifts. Even after security turned him away, he kept coming back multiple times.

The situation got so out of hand that the police had to get involved, and eventually, court orders were needed to control it.

Delta recently competed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria, and finished in fourth place.

Oh my gosh, Delta just gets it, you know? She was talking about Eurovision, and she said she just wanted to be proud of her performance, and honestly, that’s just…everything. It’s like, all you can ever do is try your absolute best, and she totally nailed that. I’m seriously so inspired!

Delta is preparing to launch her eighth studio album, ‘Pure,’ which will be available on November 6th.
