Toy Story 5 will see one character speak for the first time ever

In the upcoming Toy Story 5, a fan-favorite character will finally speak! Bullseye, Woody’s horse, will get a voice during a playful scene that takes place within the imagination of an eight-year-old girl named Blaze.

What’s more exciting is that Bullseye will be voiced by The Traitors US host Alan Cumming.

Alan Cumming recently told LADbible that his appearance in the project is a brief cameo, but he’s excited because it marks the first time this particular character has ever been given a voice.

Cumming expressed his excitement and humility about joining the project, saying he was thrilled, proud, and almost in disbelief to have been cast.

Cumming explained that finding the right voice for Bullseye was a tough choice. He and the team explored many options before finally deciding on the one they now use.

The actor explained that the reasons behind his character’s conversations will become clear when the movie is released, and that’s why they considered a wide range of actors for the role.

The fifth installment of Toy Story arrives in theaters next month, bringing back Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as the voices of Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

More than thirty years after the original movie, the fifth film in the series introduces a new challenge for the toys: modern technology.

Last year, director Andrew Stanton described the core idea behind his new film, explaining it wasn’t primarily about a war, but rather about a deeper issue: the fact that children had stopped playing with toys.

Technology has profoundly impacted how we all live, and we’re starting to consider what that means for ourselves and our children. Simply blaming technology for problems isn’t a helpful solution.

Toy Story 5 is released in cinemas on 19 June.
