The popular BBC wildlife series, Springwatch, is back for 2026! The season began last night with a live broadcast from a brand new location: The National Trust’s Crom Estate in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan once again hosted the live show, this time broadcasting from Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, Iolo Williams traveled around the UK, sharing wildlife updates from various locations.
Starting Monday, May 25th, 2026, you can watch Springwatch four nights a week for three weeks. New episodes will be available on BBC Two at 8pm and simultaneously on iPlayer. The series will run until Thursday, June 11th, 2026.

The 2026 series will use constantly recording wildlife cameras to reveal the beautiful natural environment of the Crom Estate, a remarkably diverse and peaceful landscape.
Crom Estate, situated on the banks of Upper Lough Erne, is a beautiful place with a variety of natural landscapes – from old forests and marshes to open grasslands and freshwater environments.

In addition to the shows filmed at Crom Estate, Iolo Williams will be traveling across the UK each week, broadcasting live from a new location.
