The Nike Mercurial Vapor 17 Elite is Nike’s lightest football boot yet, designed to help players maximize their speed, agility, and accuracy on the field. Launched at the same time as the Mercurial Superfly 11 Elite, this new pair of boots represents a significant advancement in football performance as players prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The new Vapor soccer shoe is the lightest Mercurial ever made, weighing just 155 grams – up to 20% less than previous versions. It features a completely redesigned upper called AtomKnit, Nike’s lightest and most see-through Flyknit material yet. This creates a unique, almost see-through look and feels like a second skin for a better connection with the ball. The shoe launches in a bold “Multi-Color/Black” colorway with bright white and pink accents. Unlike some other Mercurial models, the Vapor has a low-cut design without an ankle collar, giving players complete freedom to move.
