The incredible sale of the one-of-a-kind Denza Z9 GT Chopard Edition will fund AIDS research programs worldwide. This custom-built vehicle was first shown at an event during the Cannes Film Festival in France and was specially created for a charity auction. It combines Chinese automotive technology with European luxury design, and represents a key step as the brand grows internationally. The vehicle sold for €700,000 (about ¥5.53 million RMB or $815,000 USD), making it one of the company’s most valuable sales ever.

Chopard, the renowned Swiss watchmaker, played a major role in redesigning the car’s look and feel. The exterior now features unique gold details, and the interior has been crafted with the same artistry you’d find in jewelry. Inside, you’ll find amethyst-colored accents, controls designed like gemstones, and wireless charging pads with the brand’s logo. Custom embroidery with the “C” logo and a special infotainment system theme add to the luxurious feel. This collaboration goes even further – buyers will also receive a matching pair of luxury watches and a custom set of luggage.

The Z9 GT features a custom design built on BYD’s advanced e3 platform and utilizes their next-generation Blade Battery. The high-performance, three-motor version boasts over 960 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. A rear-wheel-drive model prioritizes range, offering up to 800 kilometers on a single charge. Inside, passengers enjoy a premium entertainment system, co-developed with French audio experts Devialet, featuring Dolby Atmos for immersive, high-quality sound throughout the cabin.
