Jess Rowe throws Barbie themed birthday party to celebrate her daughter Allegra turning 19: ‘May all your dreams come true’

Jess Rowe celebrated her daughter Allegra’s 19th birthday with a sweet post and a fun Barbie-themed party.

The 55-year-old TV personality shared pictures of the celebration on Instagram. She and her husband, Peter Overton, are parents to Allegra and another daughter, Giselle.

Allegra looked happy in recent photos, wearing a red strapless dress and posing with a birthday cake shaped like a Barbie doll.

The model’s frock featured a sweetheart neckline and colourful, layered skirts.

She kept her makeup simple and styled her platinum blonde hair with a gentle curl. She then cheerfully posed for photos with her mother and sister, who is sixteen years old.

Okay, so I just had to share – my sweet friend Allegra turned nineteen, and we threw her the most adorable party! The theme? Dress up as your favorite Barbie! It was such a fun, playful way to celebrate, and honestly, who doesn’t love a little Barbie nostalgia?

May all your dreams come true as you head into the world – our wish upon a star.’

Jess wore a bright and cheerful outfit to her daughter’s special event, including rainbow-coloured pants, a matching overshirt, and a visor.

Meanwhile, Giselle opted for a pastel pink look with a crop top and mini skirt.

Peter, a 59-year-old news presenter, joined in the fun by wearing a pink shirt and helping out in the kitchen.

More Instagram photos showed Allegra celebrated her birthday with themed cupcakes and a small gathering of close friends at her house.

This happened only a few months after Peter had a bad fall at home, which resulted in a serious injury and a hospital stay.

The Nine News Sydney anchor seriously injured his wrist and needed extensive surgery. Doctors performed a four-hour procedure that included a bone graft, three metal plates, and several screws to repair it.

Jess shared the shocking news to Instagram in November.

‘Never a dull moment in our house!’ she wrote, revealing the extent of her husband’s injury.

With Allegra busy completing her high school exams and the usual everyday challenges, Petee unfortunately had a fall at home and seriously injured his wrist.

Jess explained that Peter needs to rest and recover completely, and it will be a while before he returns to television.

She also praised the medical team who looked after her husband.

She expressed deep gratitude for our healthcare workers – the emergency nurses, physical therapists, doctors, and surgeons – calling them truly remarkable, caring, and compassionate, and stating how fortunate we are to have them.
