May 28 Is Going To Be A Great Day For Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is adding another big title on May 28th, and it will be available to play right away. This comes soon after the release of Forza Horizon 6 as a day-one Game Pass game. The subscription service has been packed with new free games lately – earlier this month, they added a highly-rated, 100-hour RPG that quickly became popular with subscribers.

Things are really heating up with Game Pass lately! On top of everything else, Vampire Crawlers just dropped – it’s a spin-off of Vampire Survivors and seriously addictive, mixing roguelike elements with deck-building. We even got a potential 2026 Game of the Year contender, which is a huge win for the service. And the best part? Both of those games were available on day one! But honestly, even with all this good stuff, there’s still a ton more on the way, which is awesome.

Xbox Game Pass Gets A Remarkable Day-One Release

May’s Xbox Game Pass lineup includes a brand new game called Crashout Crew, available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, handhelds, and through cloud gaming. Because it’s being released directly onto Game Pass, you’ll need an Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription to play. Although it might look like just another party game, Crashout Crew actually has a lot of promise.

Crashout Crew is the latest game from Aggro Crab, the team that created Peak, a highly-rated and popular game from 2025. In Crashout Crew, you play as a skilled forklift driver in a warehouse, working with friends to manage and ship increasingly difficult and unpredictable boxes.

Crashout Crew Could Be The Next Big Friendslop Hit

Crashout Crew is an online co-op game for up to four players, and it’s designed to be delightfully chaotic. Think of it like Overcooked, but with cars! You’ll race against the clock to fulfill orders before time runs out, all while driving around a large arena where physics can either help or hinder your progress. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic co-op party game.

Although it will play quite differently than the previous game, Peak, Crashout Crew will still offer the same fun and quirky humor as you race around the warehouse with your forklift, trying to fulfill and ship orders. The game will also support crossplay between Steam and Xbox, meaning Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play with their friends who purchase the game on PC.
