eFootball 2026 Epic Atep pack: Review, Best Progression Builds, and Skills

Alongside the popular Martin Ødegaard promotion, the ‘Epic Atep’ pack in eFootball 2026 generated even more excitement. Atep has consistently been a favorite player from the National Legends Selection campaign, and his return has reignited fan enthusiasm.

I recently signed Epic Atep and wanted to share my thoughts on him, along with the best way to develop his skills in eFootball 2026. I’ll cover how to allocate progression points and which skills to prioritize.

eFootball 2026 Epic Atep review

Atep

  • Position: LWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger
  • Show Time Skill: Acceleration Burst and Blitz Curler

While we previously released an Atep card with the Nation Selection Contract, this new Epic version is a significant improvement over his original card.

This player’s role and how they play haven’t changed, but the new “Acceleration Burst” skill is a game-changer. I’m already a big fan of using forwards who have it, like Owen and Shevchenko, because that quick speed boost helps them get away from defenders.

He’s incredibly comfortable and agile with the ball at his feet, making quick turns and changes of direction feel effortless. I tested him using both the default player build and a customized one where I reduced his dribbling stats slightly, and he still performed exceptionally well in both cases.

Many players will likely choose him because of his powerful shot, the Blitz Curler. Improving his finishing into the 90s is key, as consistent accuracy makes a big difference. Once he cuts inside, he consistently scores, particularly from the typical areas where the Blitz Curler excels.

If you’re not planning on maximizing your character’s progression, I still recommend getting it to around the high 80s – you’ll definitely feel the improvement. Personally, I didn’t invest any points in allocation for my build.

While some players like wingers who are well-rounded and can both cross the ball and create opportunities, I generally agree. However, I didn’t notice a significant improvement in passing with this particular player card – it could just be how the game was playing at the time.

While strong physical play isn’t as dominant as it once was, skillful dribbling remains a valuable asset in football. Atep is a player who excels at this kind of close control and can really make a difference.
