I’m so excited – the new season of FC Mobile is finally here! EA dropped the latest season as a big update, and everyone seems to be loving it. A lot of people are starting fresh with new accounts, but I know some of us are dusting off our old ones and jumping back in. If, like me, you’re worried about getting back into your account, here’s how to do it!
Losing your gaming account can be really frustrating. Whether you play on a console or mobile device, it’s upsetting to lose progress you’ve worked hard to achieve. While account loss is sometimes caused by user error, it can also happen due to problems on the game developer’s side. Don’t worry, though – this article will help you understand what to do!
How to avoid losing your FC Mobile account
When you first sign in to FC Mobile, it’s really important to connect your account to either Facebook or Google Play. When you start the game, you’ll be asked to sign in as a Guest (using your device) or through your social media. Avoid playing as a Guest, because if you lose access to your device, you’ll also lose your FC Mobile account!
- Tap on the Settings (cogwheel) icon located at the top-right corner of the home screen. The in-game Settings menu would pop up on your screen.
- You will find the Link Accounts option under the settings menu.
- Tap on Link Accounts and then link your account with either of the social options: Facebook or Google Play Games
- Now you are all set to play the game without the fear of losing your account!
If someone plays as a guest and then loses their device or deletes the game, their progress will be lost permanently – they won’t be able to get it back. To prevent this, it’s best to connect your game using either Facebook or Google Play Games to save your progress.
If a player reinstalls the game or switches to a new device, their progress will be safe. They can simply log back into their account and pick up right where they stopped.
How to recover your lost account in FC Mobile
Okay, so I found out that even if you log in with Google Play or Facebook, there’s still a chance you could lose your game data. Don’t freak out though! EA support is there to help if that happens – just reach out to them.
If you need help, you can reach out through the in-game Customer Service found in the Settings menu. Alternatively, you can connect with Live Chat Support on the official EA help website. When you contact them, please have your account information ready, including how many Gems or FC Points you had before the issue occurred. Screenshots or your UID (if you have it saved) will also be helpful. You can also try contacting the developers on their official social media pages.
Now that FIFA has become FC Mobile, many players who enjoyed previous FIFA Mobile seasons are coming back. However, if they haven’t connected their social media accounts, they’ll need to start their progress over in the new season.
