HoYoverse is preparing to launch Version 4.3 of Honkai: Star Rail, called “The Lethe Below the Living,” on June 1, 2026. The update will include exciting new content like a collaboration featuring the character Mortenax Blade, a helpful new Widget feature for mobile devices, and a brand new map to explore.

New location, Inkford Hermitage. This map is a boundary between the World in Canvas and reality.
New Playable Character and Reruns in HSR Version 4.3
Mortenax Blade
Mortenax Blade is a powerful new 5-Star Fire Nihility character coming in Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 4.3 update. He’s unique because he can function effectively as both a support character and a main damage dealer. His special ability lets him create a Zone that weakens enemies and makes them more vulnerable to attacks. His abilities generally work by sacrificing his own health to increase damage and add extra effects during combat.
Reruns
Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 4.3 update will be shorter than usual, lasting just 42 days. This means each character banner will be available for 21 days. The initial banner featuring Mortenax Blade will run for the full 42 days, but all subsequent rerun banners will each be available for 21 days.

System Changes
- Widget on Mobile: After the Version 4.3 update, players who have downloaded HSR on mobile can add the widget to their home screen.

Honkai: Star Rail x Fate
The Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration event starts on July 24th and will be available until Version 4.6. During the event, you’ll have a chance to obtain Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh through special banners, and you can even choose one of the collaboration characters for free!

Final Thoughts
The new 4.3 update for Honkai: Star Rail includes collaborative events and a new area to explore. I’m particularly looking forward to the event featuring Fate!
