The new Peaky Blinders movie, The Immortal Man, will be approximately 1 hour and 52 minutes long. It’s scheduled to arrive in select theaters on March 6th, offering fans a dose of thrilling crime action (according to IFCO).
Set in 1940 during World War II, the film sees Tommy Shelby return to Birmingham after a period away. This will be the final chapter of his story, and will lead into a new Peaky Blinders series.
The fate of his family and the nation hangs in the balance as Tommy Shelby battles his inner struggles. He must decide whether to accept his past or destroy it completely. As the Peaky Blinders always do…

Steven Knight, the creator and writer of the show, has revealed that he originally planned for the story to take place between World War I and World War II.
He said the COVID-19 pandemic altered the story’s path, and it will now end with what he called a “fantastic” movie.
I initially decided I wanted the story to take place in the period between World War I and World War II, starting right after the first war ended and finishing when the second one began,” he explained to RadioTimes.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to cancel season seven as originally planned. Instead of finishing the series with the Second World War, we’ve created a film – which is coming out shortly and is really good – that now brings the story up to that point.
After a short theatrical release, the film The Immortal Man will be available to stream on Netflix starting March 20th. Tom Harper directed the movie, based on a screenplay written by Knight.
The new season will bring back several familiar faces, such as Cillian Murphy as Tommy, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs, and Ian Peck as Curly.
Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycurgo are also joining the cast. There’s speculation that Barry Keoghan will play the role of Tommy’s son.
