Is Tom Hardy’s MobLand returning for season 3? Here’s everything you need to know

Fans are incredibly excited about Tom Hardy’s crime drama, MobLand. There’s so much anticipation for the show that people are already discussing a potential third season, even before the second season has premiered.

This series centers on Harry Da Souza, a man who solves problems for London’s criminal underworld – and sometimes eliminates threats. He’s caught between two powerful families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons, desperately trying to stop them from erupting into a full-scale war. But Harry’s dangerous job also creates a lot of tension in his personal life, straining his marriage to his wife, Jan (played by Joanne Froggatt).

Filming for season two is finished, but we don’t yet know when it will be released.

According to a report in The Sun from late April, a third season of MobLand is being developed, but Paramount+ hasn’t officially confirmed it yet.

It’s currently uncertain whether there will be a third season, as rumors have surfaced claiming the show’s lead actor, Hardy, has been let go.

Everything you need to know about MobLand season 2

Tom Hardy will be starring in MobLand season two. In fact, it’s already wrapped.

Emmett J. Scanlan, who portrays Paul O’Donnell—the Harrigans’ tough guy—announced on Instagram in March that filming for the second season had finished.

In a video, the actor called shooting the season an “extraordinary experience.”

Scanlan also teased what fans can expect from season two in February, during a chat with Hello!.

He explained that if you enjoyed the first season, which was brilliantly written by Jez Butterworth, you’ll find the second season is even more intense and impactful.

This show is incredible! I was completely captivated by the first season, both when reading the scripts and experiencing the story. And I actually think the second season is even stronger, with truly excellent writing.

I’m so excited for the next season! Tom Hardy is back, and they’ve added Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, who will be playing Conrad and Maeve Harrigan. Plus, Paddy Considine, Emmett J. Scanlan, Joanne Froggatt, Janet McTeer, Lara Pulver, and Toby Jones are all going to be in it too – what a cast!
