Here’s when The Mandalorian and Grogu will be available to watch on Disney+

The Mandalorian and Grogu has brought Star Wars back to the big screen, but given that it’s a spin-off of a Disney+ show, you’d be forgiven for thinking that you might also be able to stream it at home now.

Unfortunately, The Mandalorian and Grogu has been given an exclusive cinema release, and has yet to confirm its Disney+ release date. We do know that it’ll join all three seasons of The Mandalorian on the streaming service though, alongside every other Star Wars movie.

So looking back at recent releases, here’s when you can expect The Mandalorian and Grogu to arrive on Disney+, as well as when it’ll be released on digital platforms.

When will The Mandalorian and Grogu be released on Disney+?

As mentioned above, The Mandalorian and Grogu has yet to confirm its Disney+ release date, but we can work out when to expect it.

Typically, Disney releases take around 100 days from their cinema release to their streaming debut. Sometimes it might be a little shorter and sometimes a little longer, but it’s always around the three-month mark – unless it’s an Avatar movie.

It means that The Mandalorian and Grogu will land on Disney+ in either late August or early September, with the likeliest release dates being Wednesday 26 August or Wednesday 2 September, given that Disney prefers a Wednesday release for new streaming titles.
