1 of the Best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movies Makes Free Streaming Debut Next Month

Fans can stream one of the top Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies for free starting June 1st. Pluto TV is adding the film to its selection of free movies and TV shows.

I absolutely loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem! It’s the newest take on the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story, and what really stood out to me was how it focused on the turtles actually being teenagers. They’re trying so hard to find their place in the world and connect with others, even though their dad is understandably overprotective. It felt really relatable and fresh!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Streams Free In June

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the Turtle brothers, who have been hidden from humans for years, want to become accepted as regular teens by becoming heroes to the people of New York City. With the help of their friend April O’Neil, they try to take down a dangerous criminal group, but things get complicated when a large number of mutants are released, creating a bigger threat than they expected.

Jeff Rowe directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which he co-wrote with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit. The film is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon provide the voices for the four turtles, while Ayo Edebiri voices April O’Neil and Jackie Chan voices Master Splinter. The voice cast also includes Maya Rudolph, John Cena, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Ice Cube, and Paul Rudd.

A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Sequel Is on the Way

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was a hit in theaters, earning $180.5 million despite costing $70 million to make. It also received the best reviews of any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie released in cinemas, scoring a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Because of its success, Paramount has already begun working on a sequel, and director Jeff Rowe is returning to lead the project.

Rowe explained that they initially planned for Shredder to be the primary antagonist, but changed direction. He pointed out that Warner Bros. strategically released the Joker in The Dark Knight at the right time, and that while Superfly is a capable villain – dangerous, strong, and a real threat to the Turtles – Shredder needs to be even more formidable. He needs to be a significantly greater threat than Superfly.

The next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie isn’t coming together as quickly as fans were expecting, which is disappointing.

As a huge TMNT fan, I was really excited when Paramount dropped a new animated series on Paramount+ called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It was designed to connect the storylines between the recent movies, and thankfully, it was popular enough to get a second season… but something happened.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem streams for free on Pluto TV beginning June 1. .
