Former James Bond star backs Jacob Elordi to be the next 007

With his rising popularity in Hollywood, Jacob Elordi is a strong contender to be the next James Bond. Now, a former Bond actor has publicly supported the actor, known for his roles in films like Wuthering Heights and the series Euphoria.

While Rosamund Pike is now known for her performances in films like Gone Girl and I Care a Lot, she first gained recognition playing Miranda Frost in the James Bond film Die Another Day back in 2002.

So, I was reading an interview with Rosamund Pike in GQ, and she basically said she hasn’t watched a single James Bond movie with Pierce Brosnan since it came out! Can you believe it? But, they did ask her who she thought should be the next 007, which I thought was a pretty cool question.

She didn’t directly answer the question, but she did speak highly of her Saltburn co-star, Jacob Elordi, calling him a “fantastic actor.” She also suggested he’d make a good James Bond, saying, “He certainly has the look, so why not?”

Jacob Elordi, recently nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Frankenstein, has become a frontrunner in betting markets. Callum Turner, known for his work in Eternity, is also a strong contender.
