Arth Atelier, a contemporary fashion house based in Boston, has launched its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, called “Anchored in Motion.” The collection focuses on natural fabrics, completely avoiding synthetics. Each piece emphasizes where the materials come from, features precise tailoring inspired by architecture, and is largely made by hand.

The FW26 collection is built entirely on sustainable materials, using only regenerative and GOTS-certified organic fibers to ensure complete purity throughout the production process. A key material is Nativa™ Regenerative Wool, sourced from farms in Uruguay that prioritize animal welfare and land management. This wool forms the basis of the brand’s signature knitwear, like the Hand-Embroidered Organic Wool Cardigan. For lighter pieces, the collection features an innovative, biodegradable banana fiber textile in the Layered Apron Tops. This material provides a natural sheen and a beautiful, silk-like drape without relying on synthetic materials.

The collection plays with contrasts, pairing sharply tailored shapes with soft, flowing fabrics. Blazers and wide-leg pants are made from natural cotton materials like canvas and twill, and feature intricate hand-embroidery techniques such as Chikankari and Aari. These embroideries aren’t just decorative; they add depth and texture to the garments’ structure. The color scheme is grounded in earthy, classic menswear tones – rich browns, oatmeal, and grey – with unexpected pops of pale pink and soft blue.

Each piece in the collection is categorized by how much skilled labor goes into making it. For example, the Hand-Embroidered Organic Wool Cardigan takes 13.5 hours of detailed hand embroidery. The Hand-Pleated Twill Windbreaker Jacket requires 32 hours of manual pleating and stitching with organic cotton. Finally, the Hand-Embroidered Mirror Mini Dress involves 13 hours of delicate handwork to embed real glass mirrors into the organic cotton fabric.
