The successful businesswoman is spending a lot of money renovating her large, modern farmhouse in Hidden Hills. She bought the four-acre property from Miley Cyrus in 2020 for $15 million and has been working on the 30,000-square-foot home ever since.
Let’s be real, the timing of all this isn’t accidental. Things are clearly heating up between her and the Oscar-nominated actor – their relationship is getting serious, and it’s wonderful to see!
Following Timothée Chalamet’s public display of affection at the Golden Globes, and with rumors swirling about an engagement, Kylie Jenner shared updates on a home renovation project on social media Tuesday.
She started her Instagram Stories with a photo of the house taken from her car, showing construction happening outside. She captioned it, ‘house meetings are my fav,’ letting everyone know she’s actively involved in the building process.
The beauty entrepreneur shared that she’s decorating the large home with lots of natural colors and materials.
She shared a glimpse of new, beautiful hardwood floors being put in, and showcased impressive wood paneling in one of the rooms.
A recent photo showcased the beautiful marble chosen for the tiling, emphasizing the project’s luxurious design.
Kylie posted a picture of a pile of old tiles, excitedly writing that she was ‘in love with a reclaimed floor’.
A quick shot of the house’s exterior showed it was built in a natural style, using large, square stones for the front.
The post also showed a stone staircase that went outside to a large yard, perfectly blending the estate’s modern and rustic styles.
Kylie clearly spared no expense, even building a dedicated security headquarters on her property.
The extra precautions come after the reality star has dealt with stalkers in the past.
She also apparently spent about $500,000 on olive trees, planting them around the property to create a natural privacy screen.
Photos taken from the air this summer reveal lush plants creating a natural border around the nearly finished construction project.
The property is stacked with luxury features, including a 12-car underground garage and a bunker.
The estate also boasts 15 bedrooms, a dedicated sports court, and a massive swimming pool.
Architectural Digest reports that the main house covers about 18,000 square feet, and the property also includes a separate guest house.
Kylie intends to live with her two children: seven-year-old Stormi and three-year-old Aire, who she shares with her former partner, Travis Scott, age 34.
For now, she and the children reside nearby in her $36 million Hidden Hills home.
The new location allows her to stay near her family, as the property is close to where Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian live.
Kris bought a large eight-bedroom house for $20 million, and Khloé built her home on property she acquired for $17 million.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian also live close by.
The sprawling build is just the latest addition to Kylie’s ever-growing real estate portfolio.
She has a $36 million home in Holmby Hills and is currently selling a Beverly Hills property she previously owned with her ex, Scott.
Kylie purchased the Holmby Hills house in April 2020, and shortly after, she also bought land in Hidden Hills.
She started investing in real estate at 17, buying a house in Calabasas for $2.7 million in 2015. She then sold it two years later for a profit of $3.1 million.
I’ve been following her for years, and 2016 was a big year! She bought an incredible mansion in Hidden Hills for $6 million, and I was so impressed. Even better, she later sold it and made a nice profit – $6.7 million, if I remember correctly! It just shows her great eye for investment.
A few months after that, she purchased the adjacent property for $4.5 million and then sold it in 2017 for $5.3 million.
Kylie and Scott bought a $13 million house in Beverly Hills in 2018, and they lived there with their daughter, Stormi, for a short time.
The couple later listed the property for $21.9 million.
