Okay, I’ve been waiting so long for the new season of Bridgerton to hit Netflix – it’s been 18 months! This time around, the story is all about Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, and I’m dying to know what the critics think of their romance. Is the fourth season any good?
The newest season of this historical romance, adapted from Julia Quinn’s 2001 novel An Offer from a Gentleman, focuses on Benedict as he feels pressured to marry and continue his family’s legacy.
His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a mysterious woman in silver at a masked ball, and he becomes determined to learn who she is. What he doesn’t realize is that the woman behind the mask is actually Sophie, a maid he’s begun to connect with, and he’s forming a relationship with someone he doesn’t recognize.
