côte&ciel is partnering with NinepointNine to create a new collection featuring the brand’s popular SARU and ISARAU designs.
I’m really loving this new collection! It takes these classic geometric shapes and just reimagines them with such a focus on how the materials feel and how everything is put together. They used this amazing multi-layered nylon that’s water-resistant and has this cool, slightly crinkled texture – it gives each piece a really strong, sculptural quality. It holds its shape beautifully, even when it’s not full. And the details are fantastic – there’s this subtle white stitching all over that not only makes the pieces stronger, but also gives them a little bit of a glow in low light. It’s just so well thought out!
The new collection from côte&ciel and NinepointNine will first be available on May 14th at a special pop-up shop in Hong Kong’s Hysan Place. It will then be released worldwide on May 21st through côte&ciel’s stores and website.
