Okay, so I’m super hyped because Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra’s Season 5 is kicking off on May 13th, 2026! We’re getting three new characters to play as, plus a bunch of cool new skins, events, and even some collaborations I can’t wait to jump into. I’m going to break down everything that’s coming in Season 5 so you guys are ready to go!
Heroes and Skins coming to Season 5 of Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra
Bandai Namco has revealed details about Season 5 of Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra. The update will introduce new playable characters for each of the game’s three classes: Tank, Damage, and Technical.
Frieza (Fourth form) – May 13th
Frieza (in his Fourth Form) is a strong attacker who excels at controlling areas of the battlefield. He can briefly create a barrier to block paths and limit enemy movement, and also deals massive damage to opponents lined up in front of him.
Son Goku (Youth) – May 26th
This new version of Son Goku is a powerful Damage hero designed for aggressive players. He excels at quickly dealing huge amounts of damage to multiple enemies using his special abilities.
Bulma (Youth) – June 13th
Bulma is a new Tank hero who drives a combat vehicle to help her team. She can ram into enemies to create opportunities for attack, then quickly deliver her allies right into the action. This makes it easier for her team to fight, move around the map, and control areas.
New Skins
The new skins confirmed to feature in Season 5 of Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra are as follows:
- New Battle Armor suit for Krillin.
- New outfit for Son Gohan (Kid)
- New outfit for Bulma (youth) immediately after she releases.
New Events and Collabs in Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Season 5
The following events are set for release this season:
- Mr. Satan’s Zeni Jamboree: This is a limited-time event that will be available from May 13th to May 26th, providing ample time for you to farm massive amounts of Zeni. This event will also return on June 13, 2026.
- Bulma’s Super Capsule Bonanza: This limited-time event will be returning on June 9th, allowing us to accumulate lots of Special and Gold Capsules for free.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Collab
Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra will be getting a big collaboration with a popular database franchise this season! It launches on June 23, 2026, and will introduce exciting new character skins. Rumors suggest we’ll see Super Saiyan God Vegeta in his Ultra Supervillain outfit, along with Super Saiyan Trunks (Teen) wearing his Time Patrol Suit.
