Louis Tomlinson’s latest song, Imposter, hasn’t gotten as much attention as the hugely successful return of his former bandmate, Harry Styles.

It’s quite a coincidence that both musicians, who rose to fame in the world’s biggest boyband, are releasing new music in the same week.

After taking a four-year break from music, Harry announced his comeback last week with a new album.

Louis was set to release his new single on Tuesday, but Harry unexpectedly announced his own single, “Aperture,” would come out on Friday – the very same day Louis’ album, “How Did I Get Here?”, was scheduled to be released, overshadowing Louis’s moment.

Louis is also due to be back on the road touring this year around the globe, starting March 2026. 

Louis truly opened up on his third album, showcasing his growth as a songwriter, lyricist, and performer. He didn’t hold back, delivering his most honest work yet.

Louis started brainstorming ideas in England, then spent three weeks in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in early 2025 developing them further.

Louis explained that his new song, ‘Imposter,’ was created while he was in the Costa Rican jungle. The song explores themes of identity and who we are.

As a huge fan, I can honestly say this song has the most beautiful melody on the whole album, and I’m so thrilled everyone is finally getting to hear it!

The website’s footer includes a copyright message for Sony Music Entertainment, Harry’s record label through Columbia Records.

When visitors engaged with the website, they were automatically connected to a WhatsApp chat or group called HSHQ, which is a fan community for Harry Styles.

Many fans reported that after saving the HSHQ WhatsApp number from the website and sending the default message, they received a request to share their contact information, followed by a confirmation.

The voice note generated a lot of excitement, with many fans believing it signaled new music and might even be a preview of an upcoming song.

Harry has used this kind of mysterious approach before releasing new music. For example, he previously hinted at announcements with websites like DoYouKnowWhoYouAre.com and YouAreHome.co.

Fans believe this indicates Harry is about to release new music, and they shared their excitement on X after he sent them a voice message.
