The dog, who was eight years old, had a buildup of fluid in her lungs, problems with her nervous system, and a very fast heartbeat before she died.
Mr. Peltz was deeply upset by the event and believes Nala died because of deliberate and harmful mistreatment.

She alleges that HoundSpa is refusing to share its customer list, which she believes could help with her investigation.
Houndspa and its owners, as well as groomer Ceballos, have all denied any involvement in the dog’s death.
