Brooklyn Beckham says his mother, Victoria, interrupted his first dance with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and behaved in a way he considered inappropriate.
Victoria and David Beckham’s oldest son, 26, shared a shocking post on Instagram Monday, making serious claims about his 2022 wedding.
Brooklyn felt embarrassed when his mother, 51, intervened during his first dance as a married man, asking his new wife to dance with her instead.
Although the newly married couple intended a romantic first dance, Victoria reportedly danced provocatively with her son in front of their 500 guests.
He wrote about how his mother interrupted his first dance with his wife. They had planned the dance for weeks, and it was supposed to be to a romantic song.
During our wedding reception, with 500 guests watching, Marc Anthony invited me onto the stage. I was supposed to have my first dance with my wife, but surprisingly, my mother was there waiting to dance with me instead.

He explained that she danced suggestively on him in public, leaving him deeply uncomfortable and humiliated. They had hoped to renew their wedding vows to create happy new memories, but instead, the experience caused them anxiety and embarrassment.
Daily Mail have contacted Victoria Beckham’s representatives for comment.
Brooklyn and Nicola got married in April 2022 with a very extravagant £3.5 million wedding held at the Peltz family’s home in Palm Beach, Florida.
The couple reaffirmed their commitment to each other with a vow renewal ceremony in August 2025. They held the intimate event in Westchester County, New York, and chose not to include Brooklyn’s parents or siblings.
Brooklyn also stated that his parents had been consistently attempting to sabotage his relationship with Nicola, even before they got married.
My mom unexpectedly cancelled making Nicola’s dress right before the event, even though Nicola was really looking forward to wearing it. This left Nicola scrambling to find a replacement.
In the weeks leading up to my wedding, my parents kept trying to get me to legally change my name – they pressured me and even offered me money to do so. This change would have impacted not only me, but also my wife and any children we might have.
They insisted I sign the agreement before my wedding, as that would start the terms of the deal.
‘My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.
My mum was really upset during wedding planning and even called me “evil” because Nicola and I wanted to seat our grandmothers, Nanny Sandra and Nicola’s Naunni, at our table – they were both widows. Both sets of parents did have their own tables right next to ours, though.
The evening before the wedding, several family members let me know that Nicola wasn’t related to us by blood and therefore wasn’t truly part of the family.
Ever since I began asserting myself with my family, my parents have relentlessly attacked me, both in private and by leaking information to the press.
Even my own brothers turned against me, attacking me online before unexpectedly cutting off all contact last summer.
My mom unexpectedly interrupted my first dance with my wife. We had carefully planned it for weeks, choosing a beautiful, romantic song.
