Cat Deeley has jumped on the 2016 viral trend, sharing photos of her life in Los Angeles.
The popular TV personality lived and worked in the United States for 14 years, hosting shows like So You Think You Can Dance and attending glamorous Hollywood events.
Reflecting on the past decade, Cat posted some glamorous photos and jokingly recalled a time when she loved high heels, used lots of filters, and always made a peace sign with her hand!
The photos revealed the TV presenter both at work on set and enjoying glamorous nights out with friends, often wearing sparkly, short dresses.
You know, as a lifestyle expert, I totally get it! My stylist friend Charlie and I were just laughing about how sometimes the best nights out start with a quick spray of dry shampoo and grabbing a dress right out of a suitcase – it’s all about effortless fun, and honestly, that combo often wins the night!
In 2016, Cat welcomed her son, Milo, into the world. She recently shared a heartwarming photo of herself with baby Milo on Halloween.

Cat and her ex-husband, Patrick Kielty, began their family while living in Los Angeles, having their second son, James, in 2018. They moved back to the UK in 2020.
Cat has been co-hosting This Morning with Ben Shephard since 2024. This came after ITV made changes to the show’s presenting team when Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby left.
In addition to family ties and her role on This Morning, the celebrity shared that a frightening experience with a gun was a key reason for leaving Los Angeles, as both she and her husband, Patrick, had grown unhappy with life there.
In a past interview with YOU Magazine, the ex-SM:TV presenter opened up about her worries regarding potential school shootings when her children eventually started school.
She described how her worries came true when her family was forced to flee a shooting at the Century City Mall in Los Angeles, recalling that it happened after Milo and his father visited the mall following nursery school one morning.
Oh my gosh, it was terrifying! The FBI just swarmed the place, and they were all armed! They immediately yelled at everyone to get down, to hide under the counters or anywhere they could, because there was a shooter! I was so scared, just hoping everyone would be okay. It was absolute chaos!
Let me tell you, it was a truly frightening experience. I learned that Patrick and Milo actually found themselves hiding in the kitchen of a Shake Shack when they first realized there was a gunman inside. Can you imagine the shock? They just instinctively knew they needed to get to safety, and that kitchen became their immediate shelter.
Cat explained that her husband was attempting to shield their son from realizing how serious and frightening things were.

Let me tell you, it was a really stressful situation. I got a frantic call from a friend, Paddy, explaining they were being evacuated from the community center – and things were chaotic. Apparently, they were forced to leave through the fire exits, but everyone was completely blocked from reaching their cars. Paddy asked if I could come pick them up if they walked to a nearby intersection. It was a bit of a scramble, honestly!
It was a frightening experience. Paddy was deeply upset, even more so than Milo, who was just hot and irritable and didn’t fully grasp what had happened.
Cat now lives in London with her sons, co parenting with Patrick, who she split from last year.
In July, the couple publicly announced they are getting divorced. They’ve been married for 13 years and will continue to co-parent their children.
The Daily Mail reported that Patrick’s family was deeply upset when Cat didn’t go to his mother’s funeral several months before they separated. They felt this showed the marriage couldn’t be saved.

When she didn’t appear in March, the Kielty family was deeply hurt. They felt it made it clear that a reconciliation with the other person was unlikely.
A representative for Cat explained to the Daily Mail that she stayed home with her two young children to provide support before and after school on that difficult day.
Cat and Patrick initially met in 2002 while working together on the BBC show Fame Academy, but they didn’t start dating until a decade later.
Cat recently shared the story of how Patrick transformed their friendship into a romantic relationship. He surprised her by flying from Belfast to Los Angeles for a celebratory brunch while she was hosting So You Can Dance.
They began dating publicly in May 2012 and were married in a private ceremony in Rome that September.
