A small detail in Season 2, Episode 10 of Landman subtly suggests the show could evolve to resemble Yellowstone. When Gallino gives Tommy money to finish drilling Cooper’s wells, Tommy shares a key contact name with his new partner.

Tommy explained to his partner that he chose the unusual name, including the word “cattle,” because he hadn’t officially formed the company yet and wanted something uniquely silly – something no one else would claim. While that was his initial reasoning, this choice might also create opportunities to build the company around themes of cattle ranching.
