Looks like it’s going to be a great week for TV! We’ve put together our recommendations, and this week includes a classic Agatha Christie mystery – now available on Netflix following the recent addition of Seven Dials. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a good whodunnit.
This week’s television highlights include a thrilling new drama with Sophie Turner (known from Game of Thrones). Game of Thrones fans have another reason to celebrate, as a new story set in that world is coming soon, focusing on the courageous but somewhat reckless knight, Duncan the Tall (played by Peter Claffey). Here’s a rundown of what to expect this week.

After the Flood, season 2
Sophie Rundle is back this week for a new season of the ITV drama, After the Flood. She plays detective Joanna Marshall, who has recently been promoted and is now investigating a new murder after another body is found.
What to Read Next
As Jo tries to catch the killer, she clashes with some of the town’s most powerful people, and the case quickly becomes very personal for her.
After the Flood season 2 is available to watch from Sunday 18th January on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.

Steal
Sophie Turner stars in the new action-packed drama, Steal, which premieres on Prime Video this week.
In this film, Jodie Turner plays Zara, an office employee whose normal life is turned upside down when a dangerous gang invades her workplace – a pension fund investment company – and starts making threats.
When a major heist occurs, she and her best friend, Luke, find themselves caught in the middle of the turmoil. The big question is: who’s responsible? And can Detective Chief Inspector Rhys overcome his personal struggles to crack the case?
Steal is available to watch from Wednesday 21 January on Prime Video.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
A new series set in the universe of Game of Thrones has arrived, and the focus is on the knight Ser Duncan the Tall, played by Claffey.
I’m so excited for this new show! It’s a prequel set 100 years before Game of Thrones, and it’s all about this awesome duo: Dunk, who’s described as brave but a little clueless, and his young squire, Egg (played by Dexter Sol Ansell). It sounds like a really fun buddy adventure!
This six-episode series is packed with adventure, featuring epic quests, formidable enemies, and thrilling risks for a group of unlikely friends. But this is the world of Westeros, so expect conflict and bloodshed. The big question is: can these heroes survive?
You can watch “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” starting Monday, January 19th, on Sky and NOW. New episodes will be released every Monday.

Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple

Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple is available to watch from Saturday 24th January on Netflix.

The Secret of Me
This week, Channel 4 will broadcast a new documentary directed by Grace Hughes-Hallett, the producer behind the acclaimed film Three Identical Strangers. The film focuses on Jim, an advocate for people born with intersex variations, and shares his personal experiences, which reflect those of many others.
The Secret of Me has been described as an “eye-opening film” that “raises profound questions”.
