Okay, so this is a bummer, but Blueprint Inc. just announced that Lost Crusade 2 – you might remember it originally as just Lost Crusade – is shutting down. I’ve been playing for years, and it’s a really great romance RPG. They’re pulling the plug on January 29, 2026, after almost 12 years of being live. They did a big update and renamed it back in 2018, but sadly, all good things come to an end, I guess.
Devs shared an in-game EOS notice without explaining the reasons behind it
Lost Crusade 2 is a romantic role-playing game that came out in 2014. The story centers around an invasion of Earth by Moon Goddesses, who have already destroyed Tokyo. You are the only one with the power to fight back and save the world. As you play, you’ll build relationships with the goddesses and get ready for a major battle.
Lost Crusade 2 has announced it will be shutting down on January 29, 2026. In a message to players, the game’s creators expressed hope that players continue to enjoy the game until then, but haven’t explained why they’re ending service after so many years.
You can use any remaining Diamonds until the game ends
As announced in the game, buying diamonds and other in-app items has been turned off. However, the game is still available to play! You can continue using any diamonds you already have until the game officially ends. I know it’s not much time, but I encourage you to enjoy it while you can.
I have more disappointing news for fans: refunds won’t be issued, and there won’t be an offline version of the game. However, considering how long it was available, it’s not all bad news. Many newer games, like One Punch Man: World, PANDOLAND, and King Arthur: Legends Rise, are shutting down after only a year or two.
