Pregnant Paloma Faith shares growing bump snap before jumping on internet trend with throwback to her partying days as a dancer

Paloma Faith shared a photo on Instagram on Friday, revealing her baby bump alongside her partner, Stevie Thomas.

The 44-year-old singer, who revealed in October that she’s expecting her first child with her partner, a company executive, was pictured holding his hand in a black and white photo.

Paloma wore a white Champion cropped T-shirt and accesorised with multiple layered necklaces.

She finished her outfit with unbuttoned, folded-down jeans that showed off her baby bump.

The celebrity joined the popular online trend of sharing old photos by posting a picture of herself from when she used to dance, taken back in 1999.

Paloma seemed to be really enjoying herself, dancing in a knotted white crop top and low-rise camouflage cargo pants.

She completed her look with a bold green belt, a broad olive-colored headband, and a silver belly button ring.

Oh my goodness, I was just looking at some old photos and stumbled upon one from way back in 1999! It reminded me of when I used to dance at events with Doug Hevron in Leeds – such fun times! A big thanks to Junior Cunning for sending it my way; it definitely brought back some memories!

The actress has been happily dating Stevie, who manages The JamHouse, for about a year and is now open to the idea of getting married. This comes after a difficult breakup with her previous partner, Leyman Lahcine.

The musician and a French artist married in 2017 and had two daughters together. They separated in 2022 after nine years of marriage, which was a very difficult time for the musician and led to a breakdown.

She and Stevie became a public couple in March of last year, showing affection for each other at the afterparty for the Sony Music BRIT Awards.

According to a source, Paloma and Stevie are deeply in love, and Paloma has described the relationship as the healthiest she’s ever been in.

‘He’s 6ft6 and she loves how he towers over her.’

Sources described the couple as having a passionate and thrilling connection, but also emphasized their emotional intelligence and open communication. They seem to share a deep understanding and are committed to a lasting relationship.

You know, I’ve been chatting with Paloma, and it’s so lovely to hear how happy she is! She’s always been very independent and never saw herself getting married, but she’s told me this new relationship has completely changed her perspective. She’s actually starting to think about walking down the aisle – which is amazing after years of being firmly against it! It just goes to show, love can really make you reconsider things.

In a March episode of Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s podcast, Newly Weds, Paloma mentioned something unusual, saying, ‘This is a strange thing.’

I never married my children’s father, and I’ve always been against the idea of marriage. That’s because historically, marriage has been about controlling women, and I was raised by a feminist who taught me to see it that way.

‘Weirdly, I don’t know what’s changed in me, but this guy gives me a bit like “Oh well”‘.

She recalled when she first met him, she’d firmly told him, “I’m never getting married, so please don’t even ask.”

Over time, I’ve become more open-minded and willing to consider different perspectives. I can feel myself becoming more flexible in my thinking.

Honestly, if my mum found out about this, I just know she’d be completely baffled. She’d probably accuse me of having a mid-life crisis – she always jumps to conclusions like that!

‘I do think having kids with someone is stronger than marriage from experience.’
