The Traitors gets BBC One schedule change – here’s when the final will be on

For the past two weeks, the fourth season of The Traitors UK has aired new episodes at 8pm every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. However, the finale will be a bit different, and unfortunately, viewers will have to wait longer than usual to find out who wins the prize money.

The good news is that it’s only an extra half hour wait, and it’s an extended episode.

The final episode of The Traitors season 4 will air on BBC One at 8:30 PM on Friday, January 23rd. This episode will be 75 minutes long, a bit longer than the usual 65 minutes. Following that, a special extended version of The Traitors: Uncloaked will be shown at 9:45 PM.

That pushes BBC News at Ten back to 10.30pm, while The Graham Norton Show won’t start until 11.10pm.

The show Would I Lie to You? will continue to air immediately before The Traitors at 8pm. Amanda & Alan’s Greek Job is being rescheduled to 7:30pm, rather than after Uncloaked.

Wow, this week’s episodes were a total rollercoaster! First, we found out who the Secret Traitor was, then Fiona just randomly tried to eliminate Rachel, and THEN Matthew asked to be… seduced?! Seriously, things were happening so fast, it was hard to keep up with all the drama!

Harriet shared that she was a psychological thriller author and used to be a lawyer, then unexpectedly and forcefully confronted Rachel, but her attempt failed spectacularly.

When James tried to secretly steal a shield, it raised a lot of suspicion, but he managed to avoid being exiled.

And then there was the murder of dear, sweet Jessie…

The final week starts with a surprising change: one player, chosen by the Traitors, will have double the voting power.

What surprises does the show have left before it ends? We honestly don’t know, and we’re just as eager to find out as you are!

Okay, so don’t settle in with your snacks for Friday at 8pm – you’ll be way ahead of schedule! It’s happening before then, so don’t wait until 8 to start paying attention!

You can also check out a recent article on Digital Spy where former players discuss how having certain jobs can help or hurt their chances of winning.

The Traitors season 4 continues Wednesday, 21 January at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
