The popular team-based strategy game, Pokémon UNITE, is launching a new competitive series as part of the 2026 esports schedule. This article provides all the information fans need to know about the 2026 North America League.
Pokémon UNITE Championship Series 2026 NA League: Schedule and Format
The event begins on January 17, 2026, with a Round Robin stage. It’s an invite-only competition, so there weren’t any preliminary qualifying rounds. Eight teams from North America will compete, with the event continuing until the last week of April.
The event is divided into two parts: a Round Robin stage and the Playoffs. During the Round Robin, teams will compete against each other in best-of-three matches. The five teams with the best records will then move on to the Playoffs.
Once the initial round robin phase is complete, the Playoffs will start. All playoff matches will be best-of-five. The first match will pit the team that finished fourth against the team that finished fifth. The winner of that match will then face the next highest-ranked team, and this pattern will continue until a champion is crowned.
Prize Pool
The online event boasts a substantial prize pool for participants, nearing $160,000 in total. Prizes will be awarded to teams based on their final ranking. Here’s how the prize money will be distributed:
