Gabby Allen ‘signs up for Celebs Go Dating’ but will ‘suffer from an awkward run-in with an ex boyfriend’

Sources say Gabby Allen is joining the next season of Celebs Go Dating, but she’s likely to encounter an ex-boyfriend during filming, which could make things uncomfortable.

Molly Smith, age 33, and Casey O’Gorman, 29, won the ‘Love Island All Stars’ version of the show in 2025, but their relationship ended a few months later.

Things could get uncomfortable for the two of them, as reports suggest Casey is also joining the E4 dating show, according to The Sun.

According to a source, Gabby is hoping to find a lasting relationship and has joined the Celebs Go Dating agency to help her find someone.

Production begins next week, and Gabby is very excited to start. Her former partner, Casey, is also part of the cast, promising some dramatic moments for viewers.

Although they reportedly split on good terms, getting back together could make it difficult for either of them to start seeing someone new.

Gabby is currently on screens as she has starred in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

She became overwhelmed with emotion and had a panic attack while talking about her father’s passing on a recent show.

After stumbling on the first challenge in the most recent episode, the celebrity met with the show’s directors to talk about what happened.

The show challenges celebrities by putting them through a shortened version of the rigorous SAS selection course, led by ex-special forces experts Rudy Reyes, Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox, Billy Billingham, and Chris Oliver.

Gabby and the other celebrities competed in a daring challenge: they had to run across a ladder stretched between two tall buildings while dodging simulated gunfire from below.

The reality star climbed partway up the ladder before falling, which meant they didn’t complete the challenge. The show’s staff then criticized them for not staying calm under pressure.

This meant Foxy and Billy were about to question her privately, asking about her life before she went on the show.

The conversation quickly shifted to Gabby’s father, Mark Allen, who died of an aggressive type of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme in January 2013.

Gabby explained she signed up for the tough SAS course because of her father, Mark, who sadly passed away at 54, and wanted to honor his memory by taking on the challenge.

Overcome with emotion and gasping for air, she shared that her father had passed away from brain cancer when she was just twenty years old.

‘It was a very quick turnaround from him just being normal to passing away.

He would have been thrilled to do this himself, and would have thought it was amazing that I’m doing it instead, especially as his daughter. He’d have loved it!

‘It shows that I’m not just twinkle toes now, I’ve got a bit of grit about me.’

She spoke with emotion about failing, explaining that she’d always been pressured to excel, and found it difficult when she didn’t meet those expectations.

It really touched me when DS Billy, before sending Gabby back to camp, told her that her dad would be so proud of everything she’s done. It was a small thing, but it felt like a really meaningful moment for her, and honestly, for all of us watching.
