Becky Hill ‘is training as an acrobat’ ahead of her next tour after she ties the knot with her long-time love Charlie Gardner

Pop star Becky Hill is apparently learning acrobatics to create a more spectacular show for her upcoming tour.

The 31-year-old, highly acclaimed performer has started taking aerial rope classes to enhance her shows.

Becky will be touring next year, beginning with shows in Australia and New Zealand before finishing up in the United Kingdom.

She recently shared with The Sun that she’s begun learning aerial skills. While on tour with Katy Perry last year, she was inspired by the aerial performers who were part of the show.

Seeing some performers from Cirque du Soleil really sparked my interest in aerial arts. It’s actually inspired me to try it myself! I’ve got my own rope now, and I’ve been practicing – I’m getting pretty comfortable with it, honestly. I’m not amazing yet, but I’m definitely improving!

She said she plans to incorporate her new skills into her tour once she begins working with ropes professionally.

Her latest hobby comes after she married her long-time love, Charlie Gardner.

I was so thrilled to hear that the couple, who got engaged way back in January 2022, finally said ‘I do’! They had a beautiful beach wedding in Falmouth, Cornwall, in September 2025 – it sounded absolutely idyllic. Such a lovely way to celebrate their love!

The singer of “Crazy What Love Can Do” looked stunning in a fitted gown with long gloves, a full skirt, and a beautiful veil. However, she had to take her shoes off while walking in the sand, while Charlie chose to wear sneakers.

The wedding cemented the couple’s celebrity status, with guests like Ella Eyre and Gareth Gates watching the ceremony from the beach.

I was so thrilled to see the singer announce her engagement! She shared a bunch of adorable photos and the sweetest caption – ‘Turns out he actually does like me!’ – along with a sparkling diamond ring emoji. It’s just the cutest!

Becky and Charlie have been a couple for a decade. Becky is a successful musician with numerous chart-topping hits, while Charlie works behind the scenes in event planning and prefers to stay out of the public eye.

Becky recently got engaged after telling The Daily Mail that she struggles with traveling internationally, particularly because of outdated beliefs about her sexual orientation.

Originally a hateful insult, this term is now commonly used by people who don’t identify as straight or as strictly male or female.

Becky came out as LGBTQ+ in 2021, but she was confused and troubled after a recent interview she did in Poland.

She shared with the Daily Mail at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball that one of the biggest challenges she faces is discussing her identity as a queer person when traveling to different countries.

I was recently in Poland and participated in an interview where I was asked about my experience as a queer person. The interviewer was particularly interested in what that meant for me, given that I was dating someone who also identified as heterosexual.

Okay, so she finally talked about it! And honestly, it was exactly what I expected. She said she just answered the question truthfully, which, duh, she always does. But she also pointed out that some places just aren’t as… evolved, I guess, as we are here. It’s like, she’s so right! People need to catch up and understand her brilliance, and it’s frustrating when they don’t. I just get her so much!

Honestly, it just feels like everyone needs to get with the times! Queer people aren’t some new trend, we’re part of the world and always have been. I just wish everyone could feel the joy and love I feel for the queer community – it’s incredible, and I want everyone to experience that!
