Netmarble has announced that its popular MMORPG, Seven Knights 2, will be shutting down on April 15, 2026. Originally released in South Korea in November 2020, the game launched worldwide the following year. After several years of service, Netmarble is now ending support for the title.

Seven Knights 2 is a visually impressive MMORPG and a worthy follow-up to the original. It quickly became popular in Korea upon release. The game lets you collect and upgrade a diverse team of heroes, both familiar and new, to take on challenging bosses, all while enjoying a captivating story told through beautiful cinematic cutscenes.

I was really bummed to hear from the Seven Knights 2 team on the Netmarble Forum that the game is shutting down on April 15, 2026. They did say they’ll do everything they can to keep things running smoothly until then, which is good to know. It’s just frustrating that they didn’t explain why they’re ending the game, leaving a lot of us wondering what happened.

After the recent announcement, the game no longer allows in-game purchases and has been taken off app stores. However, players can still enjoy the current seasonal content and any ongoing events will continue until the game officially shuts down. The game’s official forum and social media pages will be closed on April 14th.

Unfortunately, this game won’t have offline access or offer refunds, which is disappointing. I know dedicated fans will be upset, but I’d like to suggest an alternative. When this game is no longer available, you might enjoy trying Seven Knights: Rebirth – it’s a really fun game!
