Pamela Anderson says the current wife of her ex-husband, Tommy Lee, has contributed to their distance, even though they divorced and had a difficult relationship 28 years ago.
Pamela Anderson, 58, known for her role on Baywatch, recently discussed the subject openly while on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy. She debuted her iconic blonde hair again at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.
Pamela Anderson and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee were married from 1995 to 1998. They have two sons together: Brandon, age 29, and Dylan, age 28.
In 2019, Lee married Brittany Furlan, who is currently seeking a restraining order against singer Ronnie Radke due to his obsessive behavior.
Andy Cohen wondered if their communication might be better if she wasn’t with him.
She exclaimed with worry, “Oh dear, we’re in for a lot of trouble!” Then, after a moment, she quickly followed up with, “But I do.”
Furlan’s spokesperson didn’t offer a statement. The Daily Mail contacted Lee’s representative for comment, but hasn’t received a response yet.
The star expressed that she feels Lee is a ‘romantic’ and also ‘very dedicated to his wife.’
I believe he’s just avoiding conflict, or at least trying not to make trouble, but it bothers me.
Anderson admitted to Cohen that she wished both she and her ex-husband ‘had a better relationship.’
It’s been a while since I’ve talked to him, and I really miss him. Even though time has passed, with the kids getting married and now having children of their own, we’ll always share a connection.
Anderson mentioned she might see Lee again in June, when their son gets married.
I haven’t spoken to him recently, but I’ll be seeing him at my son Dylan’s wedding. I’m not sure if he’ll be there, but I expect to see him if he is, she explained to Cohen.
Anderson also mentioned that her sons have good relationships with their father and regularly spend time with him.
The actress explained that she frequently asks about him and even attempted to send him a gift of pickles. She’s making an effort to keep in touch, but her kids seem to think she should stop – they just say, ‘Mom, just…’ and she doesn’t quite understand what they mean.
She admitted she shouldn’t comment, but wished Lee and Furlan all the best.
The couple were embroiled in split speculation last year, which the musician publicly denied.
Anderson and Lee got married in Cancun in 1995, remarkably after only knowing each other for four days. The wedding was held on the beach.
The blonde bombshell had worn a bikini while the musician donned shorts as they exchanged vows.
The former couple made a sex tape during a vacation to Lake Mead in 1995, and it was later stolen and released publicly.
In her 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela, Anderson wrote that the experience devastated lives, beginning with her own relationship. She finds it deeply hurtful that anyone would still try to make money from something so awful – and criminal.
After that, their relationship began to fall apart, and she claimed Lee physically assaulted her while she was holding their baby son, Dylan.
The drummer reportedly spent six months in jail for ‘felony spousal abuse.’
However, in her book, the actress confessed that Lee was the only man she ever loved.
The star wrote that her relationship with Tommy was likely the only time she ever felt truly in love.
A year before, Anderson told Cohen she hoped she and Lee had a stronger connection.
We used to talk much more often, but we haven’t been connecting as well lately, which I really miss.
She reassured everyone at the time, saying, ‘Things will get better, it’s just a difficult time right now.’
Last May, news came out about whether Anderson was interested in getting back together with Lee. This happened while Anderson’s wife had publicly stated they were experiencing difficulties in their marriage.
A source told TMZ that the actress has ‘zero interest in revisiting the past.’
Pamela Anderson, who has been married five times, was last seen dating actor Liam Neeson. They met while filming the 2025 movie, The Naked Gun.
According to a source, the two celebrities had been in a relationship for some time, but she revealed last month that they had broken up.
When asked if the close connection between Anderson and Neeson during interviews was for show, Cohen believed their chemistry felt genuine, and Anderson concurred.
It’s easy to fall for someone in romantic stories, like in movies. He’s a wonderful person, but relationships need effort from both sides, as they say.
Cohen mentioned hearing that the actress and Neeson had gotten together after they finished filming, and she responded with a playful, ‘Did we need to relax a little?’
The host continued, ‘Right. Blowing off steam, sniffing around each other as one might say…’
Anderson then called the actor both ‘wonderful’ and ‘supportive.’
Honestly, I’ve never experienced a connection like this before, and it feels wonderful. It’s a truly healthy dynamic – a real friendship, and a loving one at that, which means so much to me. I genuinely admire him as a person.
